We have them!  We have to move fabric out in order to get new fabric it and in order to move it out, we have 3 different incentives for you!

1. All Holiday Fabric (Christmas & Halloween) is 30% off, minimum 1 yard cut.  It’s moving quickly, but we still have a large selection for you to choose from.

2. End of Bolts are 25% off.  We have been finding “thin” bolts this week and in the process our End of Bolts is overflowing.  Most pieces run from 3/4 yard to 1 1/4 yard.

3. Clearance Fabric are priced in two categories.  Bolts with red X’s are $4/yard, 1 yard minimum cut and the bolts with green X’s are 40% off the price on the bolt, again with 1 yard minimum cut.  We have added more to this section as well this week.

Come on in while the selection is LARGE and take a look at all the other new fabric we are making room for!

Patches Quilting and Sewing is hosting another bus trip back to The Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival in Hampton, VA, Saturday, February 27, 2010.  This is your opportunity to sit back, play games, win prizes and leave the long distance driving to someone else – – and see a great quilt show!

General Information:

Cost $95.00 (Payment due by February 18th); the price includes transportation, continental breakfast, entrance to the quilt show, a pin and lots of fun.

I am happy to announce we have two bus pick-up and drop off locations. The bus will pick up at the Route 27 Park & Ride in Mount Airy, at 6:00 am and leave at 6:15 am and at the Montgomery Mall Park and Ride, off Westlake Terrace in Bethesda, at 7:00 am and leave for Hampton at 7:15 a.m. sharp. On the return trip from the Hampton Roads Convention Center bus stop we will load the bus at 3:45. The bus leaves promptly at 4:00 pm.

A continental breakfast will be served on the bus. Patches will supply a bag breakfast: bagel, cream cheese, juice, water, and a piece of fruit. (Sorry, I can’t bring coffee, but you are welcome to bring your own.) You will be able to purchase lunch on your own at the show and the bus will stop for dinner (also on your own) on the way back in Ashland, VA (probably at Ruby Tuesday’s).

Our trip plan is underway; your eyes will widen when you see it all—a showcase of over 500 beautiful quilts and garments for inspiration. There is a merchants’ mall with lots of vendors with new products (even some demonstrations).

Let’s keep our fingers crossed for good weather. I have an exciting trip planned and I look forward to seeing you and your friends on the bus.
