Not to be forgotten – we also have flannels – Cabin, Northern Reflections and Chillin’ (with polar bears) and many others. The Tapestry blenders by Avlyn will help you complete any project. in the “Magical Medallions” quilt. While you hand appliqué on this 19″ square block you will learn to make bias stems, perfect circles, use an
underlay fabric and an overlay fabric and create smooth curves and sharp points. (Sewing machines will be required to make the stems.) Check with the store for the use of one of our classrooms machines, rather than bringing your own for this one task.

Use a variety of beautiful holiday fabrics to make strip sets which are then recut with a wedge ruler to create the fan shaped tree skirt. The
result is an elegant addition to your holiday home decorations. Skills to be learned: Strip set piecing, using a wedge ruler and binding zigzag
